• You should be able to fit one finger between the tape and skin.
Jodhpuri Set Measurements
| Measurement Code | Description |
|---|---|
| A – Neck | Wrap the measuring tape around your neck at the height where the collar would normally rest. This will be just below your Adam’s apple. |
| B – Shoulder Width | Place the end of the measuring tape at the point where your shoulder meets the top of your arm, or the boniest part of your shoulder. From there, stretch the tape straight across to the tip of your other shoulder blade to measure the distance. |
| C – Chest | Wrap the tape measure around the fullest part of your chest, just under the armpits. |
| D – Stomach | Measure the stomach by wrapping the measuring tape around the stomach, in line with where the navel (belly button) is. |
| E – Waist | The waist area is exactly where you typically tie your trousers. Measure the waist area by wrapping the measuring tape around the waist. |
| F – Hip | The fullest point around your buttocks. Hold the start of the tape measure on one hip, wrap it around your buttocks and around your other hip, and then back to where you started. |
| G – Length | From the highest point of your shoulder, measure down to the desired length of the jodhpuri jacket. |
| H – Armhole | Place the tape measure at the top of your shoulder. Run the tape measure under your armpit and bring it around back to the starting point. |
| I – Front Cross | Measure horizontally across the upper chest, from one armhole to the other. |
| J – Back Cross | Measure horizontally across the back, from one armhole to the other. |
| K – Sleeve Length | Measure from the top of the shoulder to the bottom of your wrist bone (or to the desired length of the sleeve). |
| L – Bicep | With your arm hanging at your side and relaxed, measure around your bicep at its fullest point. This is probably close to your armpit. |
| M – Wrist | Measure the size of your wrist by wrapping the measuring tape around your wrist. |
| N – Full Crotch | Measure from the centre point of the front waist. Take the tape measure under your legs to the centre point of the back waist. |
| O – Thigh | Measure the size of your thigh by wrapping the measuring tape around your upper thigh. |
| P – Knee | With your leg straight and relaxed, measure around the fullest part of your knee. |
| Q – Calf | Measure around the fullest part of your calf. |
| R – Ankle | Take the tape measure around the narrowest part of the ankle (which is normally just above the ankle bone). |
| S – Trouser Length | From the front of your waist (where you tie your trousers), measure from the top of the waist down to the desired length of the trousers. |
| T – Inseam | Measure from the bottom of the crotch seam down to the bottom of the inner leg, to the desired length of the trousers. |
